 From her artist's statement: ' My work covers a wide range of subjects and materials, including oil, watercolor, printmaking and mixed-media. I am constantly experimenting, trying to learn new things about what an image can mean. The interplay of material, technique, image and idea is permanently fascinating to me. I work to transform the ephemeral into a permanent memory of fleeting visual impressions: sunlight and cloud on water, shifting shapes of light on glass, remembered images translating feeling into paint.'
